subzero rail mission

it has been cold as shit here in minnesota for the last week. talking -26. today it warmed up to -4 and we decided we'd take a mellow day and go hit a rail. the sun was out for a bit so it wasn't too bad.

Jake OE was there.


Cody Beiersdorf was there.


This is Cody's amazing drop-in ramp. it doesnt come apart. it takes up his whole truck bed.


the best part about Cody's drop-in ramp is its so big you can ride it down hills.

late start on a sunny day.

We were out till about 4:30 AM the night before and decided to sleep in a little bit. we awoke to a bluebird day. we scrambled to decide what to hit and most of our ideas required 2 angles so we called our good friend and filmer extraordinaire Eric Schwalbe to come join us. The crew was me Ethan, Austin, and a freshly healed Jake OE. Austin was a little banged up from an earlier bail so he sat this one out and helped shovel.

the digi cam died before we could snap any action photos but this was our setup.

super sketchy steep run-in gap to 22 stair.




Ethan and Jake both got hammers at this spot so we didnt feel bad about only getting 1 thing done in the sunlight.

Vail Pass Day 1

Vail pass got dumped on the other day so we went and played in the fresh snow.  The crew was Chopper, Thompson, JJ, Lehl and myself.  We sledded a bit, shoveled a ton, shredded till dark and even had time for a good ol' game of Tickles.  Thats RT's favorite game. Here is some pics, minus the tickle pics.  Those are for personal use.
